This Jubilee Medal of St. Benedict is
used for all spiritual and temporal needs on condition that it is used
with a faithful spirit. This medal is efficacious against epidemics,
certain special illnesses and against the spells and temptations of the
devil. The popularity of St. Benedict's medal was born in the XI
century following the miraculous healing of a youth who subsequently
became a Benedictine monk, and later, Pope Saint Leo IX.
This crucifix is 3-inches long and is
suitable for hanging on a cord or chain of about 30 inches. The medal is
nickel silver. The cross is inlaid with brown or black wood (specify).
